Our core services focus solely on dog boarding and daycare. We’re located at Unit 201 Guerdon Commercial Center, Barangay Concepcion dos, Marikinia City, Philippines.

Our History

Grey’s Pet Hotel was founded in February 2023 by Jen Ochoa, a passionate pet owner who owns a fluffy male Bichon-frisée named Grey.

The inspiration behind Grey’s Pet Hotel came from Grey himself. In December 2022, Jen’s fur mom had an out-of-town trip and couldn’t find a suitable place to leave Grey for a night. Without an alternative, she reluctantly took him to a pet hotel, where he had an unfortunate experience.

Grey’s first dog hotel experience was far from satisfactory. When Jen checked him out the next day, he was in poor condition, with a shabby appearance and an unpleasant odor that indicated he hadn’t been well-cared for. The food and treats he had been provided were not consumed, and the hotel’s air conditioning was turned off, which was a surprise considering the time of their arrival. Additionally, they didn’t provide any updates or information about Grey’s well-being, forcing Jen to initiate inquiries.

There were numerous red flags in Grey’s experience at the pet hotel. But the worst part was that he was traumatized. A week later, we noticed a significant change in his behavior. He became easily agitated and started barking excessively at strangers. This was a stark contrast to his usual behavior.

Upon consulting a professional veterinarian, we learned that the behavior change could be attributed to the fact that we had left Grey with someone he didn’t know. There was a possibility that he had been mistreated or even physically assaulted, which had caused his altered behavior towards strangers.

Jen whose passionate to dogs decided to build her own dog hotel called “Grey’s Pet Hotel” after witnessing the trauma Grey endured. Her goal was to provide a safe and comfortable haven for other dogs, where they would receive the same level of care and attention she offers Grey.

Grey’s Pet Hotel is not just about business; it’s about giving all dogs the love and affection they deserve. We believe that every dog deserves a good service, a safe and relaxing environment, and peace of mind for their fur parents while they’re away.
